A group of VNET Members are about to become the third cohort of Joy of Not Knowing (JONK) schools from our network to work alongside the ‘JONK Master’ and VNET Associate – Marcelo Staricoff – from Monday next week.

For those of you that don’t know, the Joy of Not Knowing (JONK) approach has been proven to develop a lifelong love of learning and intrinsic motivation in children, and has had some wonderful results in Norfolk over the last few years. We are really pleased to be supporting a third cohort, and are looking forward to the celebration of the work created over the coming weeks.

To celebrate the launch of this new cohort, we thought we would share Marcelo’s latest article published in Creative Teaching and Learning, which discusses how JONK is enabling children to become leaders within a whole-school learning environment, allowing them to contribute in ways that were previously thought impossible.
