Over the course of the last academic year, VNET has worked alongside our friends at Lambeth Teaching School on an innovative programme – to train a group of current leadership practitioners who would become ‘VNET Change Leaders’.
These serving practitioners came from a wide variety of establishments and educational contexts across the VNET Network covering every key stage, and we are delighted to announce that they are now being deployed into VNET schools as part of our ongoing commitment to developing school-to-school support and a very much school-led network.
Each Change Leader is not only an excellent practitioner, but has undertaken a rigorous training programme, and they are now adding even greater depth to the work of our existing Associates and Partners.
Alongside this work, VNET and Lambeth have also supported the development of a number of Specialist Leaders of Education (SLE) who are now being deployed from the Lionwood Teaching School in Norwich into VNET Network schools and beyond. These practitioners are adding even more breadth to the support package we are able to offer network member schools, and doing so as serving practitioners.
We would like to congratulate all of the Change Leaders and SLE’s on their achievements in the last academic year, and are really looking forward to working with them in this new year in their new roles.
