This resource pack includes guidance and a 3-Minute Read, summarising the changes detailed in the School Inspection Handbook, which has taken effect from 30 October 2017.
The Standards and Testing Agency has released new statutory guidance for assessing and reporting the EYFS profile, and the national curriculum at KS1 and KS2, in the 2017 to 2018 academic year. This resource pack contains links to the original documents, with the option to request a 3-Minute Read, guidance piece or other piece of content relevant to your school.
Education Secretary Justine Greening has confirmed the details of the new national funding formula. The 3-Minute Read summarises the DfE’s ‘National funding formula for schools and high needs’ policy paper, highlighting the key changes to school funding and how they will be implemented.
New guidelines, from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), aimed at professionals who may come into contact with children, give advice on what to do when faced with a child who suffers from neglect. The resources aim to provide the necessary help for spotting, preventing and intervening with cases of child neglect, whilst ensuring your school’s provisions are in line with statutory and good practice guidance.
