Preparation is essential for a successful inspection. It is important to be able to tell the story of your school in a concise and coherent way.
During one-day inspections everybody is under pressure – and that includes the inspector! Knowing how to give them the information they need, navigating the meetings, and anticipating what they will need, are key factors for a positive outcome.
VNET has arranged a seminar for Governors purely to help them to understand and be prepared for this process.
Two free places are available for member schools on a first come first, served basis for the session running on Thursday 10th January 2019, from 5.00 – 6.30 pm, at VNET HQ, South Green Park, Mattishall, NR20 3JY
The session will:
- Provide governors with the key information they need to prepare carefully for inspection;
- Consider ways of getting your message across to the inspector during the visit;
- Reflect on recent trends in inspection, both regionally and nationally;
- Discuss the new OFSTED Framework which will begin from September 2019.
