We are pleased to invite all VNET Members to a free briefing, led by the Short Stay School for Norfolk, which will cover:

  • What happens to Norfolk pupils once they have been permanently excluded from mainstream schools?
  • What role does the Short Stay School play and what are the challenges in Norfolk for supporting pupils who have been PEX’d or are at risk of being PEX’d ?
  • What can we do to reduce PEXs and what do schools need to achieve this?

The briefing will also provide an insight into the current role of the SSSfN and an opportunity to have an input into possible support packages to increase inclusivity and helping to maintain more Norfolk pupils within mainstream settings.

The session will run on Wednesday 26th June 2019, from 08.30 – 10.00am, at South Green Park, Mattishall, NR20 3JY.

Refreshments will be available from 08.00 am.
