The environment is described as the ‘third teacher’ and as being ‘enabling’. It communicates clear messages of intent about what is to be learned and how it will be taught. This course will consider how environments can be related to provide a context for developing the characteristics of effective learning and learning across the seven areas.
The principles of continuous provision will be explored and delegates will be given some practical ideas for further developing their environments. These principles relate to both indoors and outdoors and are built around the acrostic RIGHT:
This full day course costs £85 + VAT. This is a series of EYFS courses being led by Jude Twani, if you sign up for all three sessions, the cost is £75 per session or £225 for the 3 days. The other courses are:
